2026 Online Auction

The 2026 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Award Ceremony Online Auction will go live on Monday, March 16th at 7 AM (EDT) and run through Sunday, March 22nd, ending at 7 PM (EDT).

The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation invites you to participate in a unique opportunity to showcase your community while supporting a meaningful cause. We are seeking your help in creating an auction basket representing your town or region for the upcoming online auction held in conjunction with the prestigious Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Awards Ceremony.

Auction Details:

Dates: March 16–22, 2026 (Please send auction items to KLEF or arrange pickup before March 2, 2026)

This auction is a key fundraiser for the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. By contributing an auction item, your organization will directly support these life-changing programs while celebrating the unique offerings of your region.

What types of ttems are we looking for? 

We encourage you to highlight the best of your organization, local businesses and community! Here are some ideas to inspire your contributions:

  • Local art or crafts (pottery, paintings, or handmade goods)
  • Gift certificates to local or regional restaurants
  • Tickets to local attractions or landmarks
  • Kentucky bourbon, wine, or other local beverages
  • Specialty food items (jams, jellies, sauces, or baked goods)
  • Branded merchandise from your town (shirts, hats, or mugs)
  • Unique experiences (farm tours, workshops, or guided tours)
  • Locally made soaps, candles, or wellness products
  • A collection of books by Kentucky authors
  • Festival tickets or passes to local events
  • Sports memorabilia or tickets to a game
  • Gift baskets of Kentucky-made snacks (bourbon balls, Ale-8-One, or candy)
  • A curated basket of Derby-themed items
  • Local honey or other farm-fresh products

 

How to Participate:

Assemble an auction package / item that represents the unique identity of your region and provide a detailed list of the items contents and an estimated value by clicking here to complete our donor form. Please arrange for delivery to 301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40202 or connect with our team for a possible pickup by March 2, 2026.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND THE IN-PERSON EVENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE AUCTION.

All items will be available for pickup for attendees of the LIVE in-person event on March 22nd and items not picked up at the in-person event must be picked up from the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation office in Louisville (301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd.).

Please note that there will be several auction items that include alcoholic beverages. At the time of pickup, winning bidders will also be asked to show personal valid photo identification in order to verify that the bidder is of legal purchasing age in the state of Kentucky (21 years old). The winning bidders MUST show this valid photo ID when they either pick up the item(s) at the in-person event OR they must be able to make arrangements to pick up these item(s) from the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation office at 301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville, KY 40202 at a mutually agreeable time with Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation staff.
