The 2026 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Awards Ceremony presented by the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation will take place on Sunday, March 22nd at the Lexington Griffin Gate Marriott Resort.

When: Sunday, March 22nd:

Arrive by 7 PM (ET) for the entire Awards Ceremony or between 7:45 – 8 PM (ET) for the Candidates Awards and Mr. and Miss KY Basketball Announcement only.
To avoid disturbances of media entering the ballroom during the program, we ask that you please arrive during one of the time windows listed above.
We anticipate the announcement of the 2026 Mr. and Miss KY Basketball Award Winners to take place between 8:15 – 8:30 PM (ET).
Immediately after the event (8:30), the winners will be moved to the media interview room, where the media can take photos and interview the winners.

Where: Check in at the registration table in the lobby of the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort (1800 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY). Please enter the main hotel entrance.

Due to limited capacity, we are not able to offer meals to media members.

Designated media spaces on the small media riser will be first come first serve.
