2020 Virtual Event Info

Congratulations to our candidates and award winners on your accomplishments on and off the basketball court!

We have decided to host our first-ever virtual Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Awards Ceremony presented by the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.  Please take the time to read through all the below information to ensure that we have a smooth and celebratory virtual event on Sunday, June 28th.  Although our Awards Ceremony is going to look a bit different this year, the meaning of the moment remains the same.  This event is intended to recognize each of our candidates and award winners and their accomplishments on and off the basketball court over their careers. We congratulate you on your accomplishments and look forward to providing a special celebration for each of you!

Please join us Sunday, June 28 beginning at 5 PM (EDT) for our Virtual 2020 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Awards Ceremony to celebrate our 2020 candidates and award winners!

A KLEF representative will deliver the 2020 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball trophies to the two winners’ home addresses during the live virtual event!  If you are a candidate, please be at your home address (the address that was included on your paperwork you submitted earlier this year) from 5-7 PM (EDT) on Sunday, June 28 and be prepared for the possibility of a KLEF representative to arrive at your doorstep (using social distancing and following any current guidelines set by the CDC or state officials).  If you will not be home, please notify Jennifer Hunt by calling 270-999-4887 or emailing JenniferHunt@kylionseye.org.  If you will be leaving to go to your college prior to June 28, 2020 please notify Jennifer Hunt also.
